Tami Pickart LPC-MH NCC: Individual and Family Therapist
Tami Pickart and her husband, Craig, are proud parents of two teenage daughters and currently reside in Mount Vernon, SD. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH). Tami approaches counseling through the lens of mind, body, and Christ. Tami has a broad experience in the mental health field. She spent 4 years working with victims of domestic violence, 9 years working in adolescent residential care and has spent the last 3 years serving the Mitchell community in mental health. She specially focuses on depression/anxiety, life transitions, and couples counseling.
Tami is a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider and is Certified in the 10 core principles of the Gottman approach for couples therapy. She is also trained in Trauma Focused CBT, Moral Reconation therapy. Tami holds a Bachelors degree in Human Services from Dakota Wesleyan University and a Masters of Science Degree in Counseling and Human Development from South Dakota State University.
