Tami Pickart is a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH) and a Certified Christian Health Practitioner through the School of Christian Health and Nutrition. She approaches counseling through the integrated lens of mind, body, and Christ.
Tami brings broad experience to her work in the mental health field. She spent four years supporting victims of domestic violence, nine years serving in adolescent residential care, and the past seven years counseling individuals and families in the Mitchell community. Her specialties include depression and anxiety, life transitions, and integrating healthy lifestyle habits. She works with a wide range of clients—from teens to older adults—and is especially passionate about the mind–body connection and teaching “The Genesis Prescription” as a foundation for holistic health.
Tami earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Dakota Wesleyan University and her Master of Science in Counseling and Human Development from South Dakota State University.
