My name is Angela Medrano, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) soon to gain independent licensure. I have been a wife for 10+ years, and I am a proud mother of three—two energetic boys, and a sweet little girl who keeps us on our toes.
For over a decade, I have specialized in youth and family development across residential, school, and foster care settings, gaining extensive experience with adolescent and family development. In addition, I have a special interest in working with women, couples, and mothers, helping them navigate identity, communication, emotional connection, faith, and the balance between caregiving and self-care.
My theoretical approach is integrative and flexible, blending Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered principles, and a Christ-centered framework when appropriate and desired by the client. I strive to meet each person where they are, offering compassion, faith, and understanding as we work together to navigate life’s challenges.
It is my goal to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel seen, valued, and empowered to take meaningful steps toward growth, healing, and lasting change.
